About IVF (In Vitro Fertilization)
In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) is an assisted reproductive technology where eggs are retrieved from a woman’s ovaries and fertilized with sperm in a lab. The resulting embryo is then transferred into the uterus to achieve pregnancy. IVF is used to overcome infertility caused by issues like blocked fallopian tubes, low sperm count, ovulation disorders, or unexplained infertility.
