About Egg Freezing
Egg freezing, or oocyte cryopreservation, is a process where a woman’s eggs are retrieved, frozen, and stored for future use. It allows women to preserve their fertility, especially if they plan to delay pregnancy due to personal, medical, or career reasons.
The process involves ovarian stimulation with hormones, egg retrieval, and freezing the mature eggs using advanced techniques like vitrification (rapid freezing). These eggs can later be thawed, fertilized, and transferred through IVF.
