In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) – Bringing Hope to Parenthood

AREAS OF SPECIALTY

What is IVF?

In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) is a modern fertility treatment that helps couples and individuals conceive a child when natural methods are unsuccessful. IVF involves fertilizing an egg with sperm outside the body (in a lab), and then transferring the resulting embryo into the woman’s uterus. IVF has brought hope to millions of families worldwide struggling with infertility.

At Ishwa IVF, we combine advanced technology with compassionate care to support every step of your fertility journey.

Why Choose IVF?

IVF is ideal for individuals and couples who are facing:

    • Blocked or damaged fallopian tubes
    • Low sperm count or poor sperm motility
    • Endometriosis
    • Ovulation disorders (like PCOS)
    • Unexplained infertility
    • Advanced maternal age
    • Recurrent pregnancy loss
    • Same-sex couples or single individuals wishing to conceive

Our IVF Process at IshwaIVF

Here’s what you can expect during the IVF process:

    1. Ovarian Stimulation You’ll receive fertility medications to stimulate your ovaries to produce multiple eggs. This helps increase the chances of fertilization.
    2. Egg Retrieval (Ovum Pickup) Once the eggs mature, they are collected using a minor surgical procedure under light sedation.
    3. Sperm Collection A sperm sample is collected from the male partner or a donor, depending on the case.
    4. Fertilization The eggs and sperm are combined in our advanced laboratory. In some cases, ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) is used for better fertilization.
    5. Embryo Culture The fertilized eggs (embryos) are cultured and monitored for 3 to 5 days.
    6. Embryo Transfer A healthy embryo is selected and gently transferred into the uterus. This step is painless and does not require anesthesia.
    7. Pregnancy Test A blood test is done around 10–14 days after embryo transfer to confirm pregnancy.
