Egg Freezing (Oocyte Cryopreservation)

AREAS OF SPECIALTY

Preserve Your Fertility, Plan Parenthood on Your Terms

Egg Freezing, also known as Oocyte Cryopreservation, is a cutting-edge fertility preservation technique that allows women to freeze and store their healthy eggs for future use. It’s a proactive step for those who wish to delay pregnancy for personal, professional, or medical reasons—without compromising on the quality of their eggs.

At IshwaIVF, we offer safe, reliable, and advanced egg freezing services, empowering women to take control of their reproductive future.

Who Should Consider Egg Freezing?

IUI is recommended in the following situations:

  • Want to delay childbearing for career, education, or personal goals
  • Have not yet found the right partner but want biological children later
  • Are undergoing cancer treatment (chemotherapy/radiation)
  • Have a family history of early menopause or low ovarian reserve
  • Have medical conditions affecting fertility (like endometriosis or autoimmune disorders)
  • Wish to donate eggs or preserve them for IVF use in the future

Success Rates of Egg Freezing

  • Egg survival rate after thawing: ~90%
  • Fertilization rate after ICSI: ~70–80%
Pregnancy success depends on age at freezing and number of eggs retrieved At IshwaIVF, we follow best-in-class protocols for maximum egg survival and IVF success.

How Does Egg Freezing Work?

    1. Fertility Assessment A complete evaluation is done through hormone tests (AMH, FSH, LH) and ultrasound to check ovarian reserve.
    2. Ovarian Stimulation You’ll receive hormone injections for 10–12 days to stimulate the ovaries and produce multiple eggs.
    3. Egg Retrieval Once the eggs mature, they are collected under mild anesthesia through a minimally invasive procedure.
    4. Vitrification (Rapid Freezing) Healthy eggs are frozen immediately using a fast-freezing technique called vitrification, which prevents ice crystal formation and preserves egg quality.
    5. Storage The frozen eggs are safely stored in liquid nitrogen at our fertility lab and can be used for future IVF treatment when you’re ready.
